PPE detection software that spots missing helmets and safety vests
Supervisors cannot be at every machine and doorway on every shift. Eye AI PPE detection is being built to check workers in defined areas of your existing CCTV views for helmets and safety vests, and to log each violation with a snapshot. The aim is a clear picture of compliance by area and shift, using cameras you already own.

Checking PPE by walking the floor only covers the moment you are there.
Violations are remembered anecdotally, so patterns by area or shift stay hidden.
Proving that rules were enforced is hard without records.
How it works
- Camera-readiness check.We review your camera views, distance and lighting, and tell you whether they are realistic for PPE checking.
- Mark the areas.You choose where helmets and vests are required.
- Pilot on your site.A computer at your site analyses the video. Your video stays on your network. During the pilot we validate results on your own cameras with you.
- Review violations.Each violation appears on your password-protected dashboard with the time, the area and a snapshot, and rolls into compliance rates.

Where it is used
Honest limits
- PPE detection is launching with pilot partners. It is in development and not yet generally available.
- We publish no accuracy figure now. Figures will be published after on-site validation, with the conditions they were measured under, such as day or night, distance and angle.
- Whether a helmet or vest can be seen depends on camera height, distance, light and whether workers are partly hidden. Some of your views may not suit it, and we say so in the camera check.
- Only the PPE types named above are in scope: helmets and safety vests.
- Pilots are scoped to your requirements first: we agree the duration, the number of cameras and how success is checked on your own footage before anything starts.

Not necessarily. We start from the cameras you have and check each view first.
